The CareSearch Project consolidates online palliative care knowledge for health professionals, people needing palliative care and their families, and for the general community. Our project is responsible for two major websites, the CareSearch website and the palliAGED website. The CareSearch Project also works closely with a number of other projects to maximise impact within the sector.

Palliative Care Australia (PCA) is the national peak body for palliative care.

Palliative Care Australia represents all those who work towards high quality palliative care for all Australians who need it. Working closely with consumers, our Member Organisations and the palliative care workforce, we aim to improve access to, and promote the need for, palliative care

CarerHelp is for carers who need information and resources to help them feel informed and prepared for caring for someone who is seriously ill. CarerHelp has information for all in the community, including carers who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, carers who speak other languages, and carers who are from LGBTIQ+ communities. Many CarerHelp resources are also useful for health professionals and care workers who work with patients or families facing end of life situations.

Palliative Care South Australia (PCSA) is the peak body for palliative care services and supporters in South Australia

PCSA promotes quality palliative care and access for ALL South Australians through advocacy, information provision and education to build community capacity and service responsiveness.

Advance Care Planning Australia is a national program funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care, enabling Australians to make the best choices for their future health and care. We are administered via Austin Health.

palliAGED is the palliative care evidence and practice information resource for the Australian aged care sector. Providing support for health and care practitioners as well as resource developers, the website also provides trustworthy information for older Australians, their families and friends.

Aged care services through My Aged Care can help you to stay as comfortable as possible during this final stage of life. Aged care providers can also help you access specialist palliative care services if needed.

Dementia Australia exists to support and empower over 400,000 Australians living with dementia and almost 1.5 million people involved in their care. Dementia is the second leading cause of death in Australia yet remains one of the most challenging and misunderstood conditions.

The Older Persons Advocacy Network comprises nine state and territory members organisations that have helped thousands of people just like you to work through issues with their aged care.

Our network members offer free, independent and confidential support and information to older people seeking or already using Australian Government-funded aged care services across the nation, along with their families and carers.

They can give you or an older person you know the advice to find the right aged care services for you, help you understand and exercise your rights and stay connected to the people you care about.
