African communities

In 2020, Issac Zangre, a respected member of the African Community in South Australia, joined the Brilliance Palliative Care Team as a Brilliance Ambassador speaking to his community about end of life care and what is a good death.

Issac gathered together members of his community to speak candidly about death, end of life care and questioned what services and support is available for community members and their families.

The Brilliance Team was honored to be invited to facilitate a community presentation for members of a number of African communities to talk further about the Brilliance Project and end of life care.
