Bhutanese community

In 2020, Kamal Dahal, a key community leader of the SA Bhutanese community, joined the Brilliance Palliative Care Team as a Brilliance Ambassador speaking to his community about end of life care and what is a good death.

Kamal gathered together members of his community to speak candidly about death, end of life care and questioned what services and support is available for community members and their families.

The videos produced, (in Nepalese & English) explored the beliefs of death and dying within the Bhutanese community and raised key points of what is important when a community member and their family is facing end of life
